Many thanks to my friends for your helpful comments on how to combat insomnia. Unfortunately yesterday I still woke up after another poor nights sleep. I was feeling rather on edge and my stomach was doing that awful churning thing that you get when you go for a job interview. It then occurred to me that the reason for the sickening sensation in the pit of my stomach was not because I had to wake up to Mark (only joking honey), and no it wasn't due to morning sickness (phew); it was in fact because it was GCSE results day. You are probably thinking that I'm a little old to be taking my GCSE's and you'd be right. I was actually stressing because I was about to find out the results of all the children I taught this year and how well my department has fared. Basically its like going through the stress of exam results for 70 kids. As it turns out, my 70 kids did good so I am pleased. I thought as I'm on the subject of school it would be a good opportunity to post some examples of mural projects I have done with various students over recent years... Graffiti-style sport mural for activity week (yr 8, 9, 10)

History Mural for a summer school project (yr 7, 8, 9)

Geography mural for a summer school project (yr 7, 8, 9)

Dragon Mural for a multi-cultural project (yr 7, 8, 9)
