One of my recent ventures is exploring self-portraits. It's a subject that I've always found difficult to master, probably because it is very difficult to remain objective about oneself.
Whilst being off work on maternity leave I thought now would be a good time to indulge in some introspection. I am really enjoying this new project and I've taken a keen interest in photographic realism, something I've never really given much time to. I'm a long way off achieving results in leaqgue with Chuck Close but I am pleased with my small achievements!
